Desert View Tower is one of our hidden treasures in East County! I stop there whenever I can for great views, good conversation and the amazing gift shop–last time I picked up onyx horse bookends. They also have a great collection of history books on East County.
Website looks good, Ben!

I have visited the Tower for over forty years beginning when my dad and me would go rockhounding in Imperial County. On some days you can see all the way to Arizona and on others the wind will bow you over!
Hi to Ben and nice web design by Mary.

I stopped by last week with my in-laws and aunt, had a great time looking around and climbing the tower! The boulders were inviting, but we were pretty worn out so we didn’t get to go all the way through them. It’s an area best left to younger people anyways :). Thanks for the entertainment, the great views, the rock frogs and makeup bag I found there! I especially liked the piano. I am spreading pictures online to my facebook friends and family, hopefully they will get a chance to stop by as well. I think it’s well worth the stop just for the memories!
